Technical Customer Engineer

Key responsibilities
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize IoT solutions to meet client-specific requirements.
- Provide advanced technical support, resolving escalated issues and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with clients to implement and test Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and production solutions.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve system issues, cooperating with the 3rd line of support and product teams as needed.
- Maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides, troubleshooting workflows, and customer-specific procedures.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to empower clients with technical knowledge.
- Act as a bridge between customers and internal teams to ensure continuous improvement of technical support tools and processes.
- Once you are fully onboarded and confident in your responsibilities, you will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation – this is an additional paid opportunity. Actual interventions are rare, so most of the time it mainly involves monitoring and being on standby.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a technical support or system engineering role.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and principles (DNS, DHCP, HTTP(S), TCP/UDP, PKI).
- Fluent in Polish and English with excellent technical communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Bonus points for
- Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent networking expertise.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Knowledge of IoT protocols and related technologies.
