Senior Technical Product Manager – CSP
Join us as a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead innovation within our scalable service management and assurance systems tailored for the communication service providers (CSP) market. Be a vital part of a pioneering Polish company at the forefront of IoT/device management solutions, trusted by tier-1 telcos like Orange and Vodafone, facilitating Internet connectivity for millions globally.
Your role:
As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will bridge the gap between the business and technical worlds, ensuring that product development aligns with user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility. You'll thrive in a dynamic environment and play a key role in driving product success.
Key responsibilities
- Whitebox understanding of the product and technical analysis — PdM goes under the hood of the system: analyses logs, APIs, architecture, service dependencies, queues and data flows to understand the impact of functional changes on the backend and operating system of the product
- Daily technical cooperation with engineering — you are a partner for developers: refines scenarios, participates in refinements, discusses architecture, assists in decisions regarding solutions and trade-off qualifications
- Understanding and co-creating dimensioning and performance — you actively participate in sizing for customers (how many instances? what throughput?), understands HW/SW limitations, and predicts the impact of new features on system load and operating costs
- Being the go-to person in the organisation in the product area — answering questions from sales, support, presales, marketing and CPE partners — because you know both the product architecture and its applications at operators best
What makes you an ideal candidate
- You focus on meaningful results rather than just delivering features
- You excel at finding simple solutions to complex needs, ensuring top-notch experiences
- Strong technical background, preferably with a Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, ICT, or IT
Your skills and experience
- Knowledge of networks allowing for a practical understanding of device management protocols, e.g. CWMP (TR-069 USP, TR-369 USP), SNMP
- Whitebox understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture
- Practical knowledge of network protocols and IP stack
- Ability to assess the impact of functions on performance and capacity planning
- Experience working hand-in-hand with developers on technical solutions
- Proven track record of leading software products from concept to market with a knack for exploring new opportunities
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across all levels
- Excellent English skills to navigate complex tech discussions
Bonus points for
- Experience with B2B products
- Experience in the Telco industry (knowledge of eTOM)
- Hands-on experience with product marketing
- Conducting in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs
