AVSystem will participate in ANGA COM 2026, taking place on May 19–21 in Cologne, one of Europe’s key events for broadband, media, and connectivity. You’ll find us at the Kontron booth (Hall 8, Stand 30), where we’ll be discussing how operators manage broadband services and device environments as networks continue to scale and diversify.
This year, AVSystem will also take part in an industry roundtable: “Fibre Networks: Integrated Reality or Just Industry Myth?”
The discussion challenges a familiar assumption in telecom: that seamless, automated, multi-vendor fiber networks are already within reach. In practice, many operators still deal with fragmented systems, complex integrations, and operational silos.
The key question is whether this is truly a technology problem or an ecosystem one.
If best-of-breed solutions exist, why does integration remain difficult? Are open standards enough to guarantee interoperability, or do they only solve part of the problem? And as networks evolve from GPON to XGS-PON and beyond, are operations becoming simpler — or just more layered?
Together with participants including Kontron, FNT Software, Praxedo, and 5x9 Networks, we’ll explore these questions across the full lifecycle of fiber networks, from planning and installation to activation, monitoring, and upgrades.
Beyond the roundtable, ANGA COM provides a space to focus on how these networks are actually operated.
As access technologies evolve from FTTH and HFC to converged fixed and in-home environments, operators face a growing operational layer behind the network. Device fleets expand, firmware diversity increases, and service activation workflows must remain reliable across increasingly complex infrastructures.
At the event, AVSystem will present how its platforms support broadband operators in managing this complexity through a structured, end-to-end approach:
• Device lifecycle management across multi-vendor CPE environments
• Automated service activation for FTTH, HFC, and hybrid networks
• Operational visibility from the access network into the home environment
• Standards-based management, including TR-069 and TR-369 (USP)
Working alongside Kontron - “One Stop Shop for Telcos”, we will demonstrate how combining network infrastructure and operational platforms enables operators to scale services while maintaining control over device behavior and service quality.
Our team — including Sławomir Wolf (CEO), William Yan – Head of Global Sales, Grzegorz Kozłowski (Product Director), Borys Godowski – Regional Sales Director, Krzysztof Hajduk - Sales Account Director, Sergio Videira and Jarosław Bosacki (Pre-sales Engineers), and Oskar Porębski (Growth Manager) — will be available throughout the event to discuss real-world deployment challenges and share practical approaches to managing large-scale broadband environments.
If you’re attending ANGA COM 2026, visit us at Hall 8, Stand 30 and join the discussion during the roundtable, to talk about what operating modern broadband networks looks like in practice.
