What is TR-069?

TR-069, also known as the CPE WAN Management Protocol (CWMP), is a protocol developed by the Broadband Forum that allows Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Communication Service Providers (CSPs) to remotely manage Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) such as modems, routers, set-top boxes, and VoIP phones.
